My wife, Debbie and I live in North Conway, having returned to the Mount Washington Valley in 2007.
I actually started my legal career here, as the Prosecuting Attorney for the Conway Police Department from 1982-1988.
We left the area in 1988, when I accepted a position with the Cheshire County Attorney's office where I worked prosecuting felony level crimes for eighteen years. My last four years with the office I served as the County Attorney until retiring from the public sector in 2007.
Upon leaving the County Attorney's office, I learned that my law partner and friend, Matthew Weegar, with whom I had worked at the Conway Police Department was looking to expand a successful real estate practice to include other areas of the law. And, as they say, the rest of the story is history.
Having spent my career in prosecution doing primarily jury trial litigation, my practice today includes criminal defense, probate administration and litigation, guardianships, contract litigation and neighbor disputes, landlord tenant actions, and child support and parenting issues. In addition to those areas of the law, my practice also includes the preparation of estate documents - wills, durable powers of attorney, and advanced life care directives, formation of limited liability companies and foreclosure law.
In my spare time, I am a member of the Whittier Lions Club, having been an active member first in Keene, and then Ossipee for over 25 years. And, when we are not spending time in the beautiful village of North Conway, you can find my wife Debbie and I enjoying time on the Maine coast in Ogunquit.
