I
grew up in Conway, New Hampshire and I am a graduate of
Kennett High School. I attended the University of New
Hampshire where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Plant
Biology. While at UNH, I performed independent research
in Honduras on carbon levels in trees and soils of
agroforestry projects.
In
between UNH and law school, I was an intern with the
Southeast Utah Group National Park System. I assisted
in a biological study of soil in Arches National Park,
Hovenweep National Moment, Natural Bridges Monument and
the Cayonlands. I was able to go into areas of the
parks where only the scientists were permitted.
After
graduating from New England School of Law in Boston, I
worked in Keene in the areas of real estate,
guardianships, collections, contracts, and family law.
I was a member of Keene Center Stage which puts on the
famous Pumpkin Festival and I joined the Agriculture
Action Group to promote local agriculture in the
community.
I am
excited to be back in the Mount Washington Valley
because I like to be near my family and the mountains.
In my spare time, I enjoy climbing, road biking, skiing,
running and cooking.
